Dearborn City Offices, Facilities Closed for Fourth of July Holiday

Here's a look at what's closed around the city on Thursday for Independence Day.

The Fourth of July holiday falls on Thursday this year. Several government offices and buildings in Dearborn will be closed.

Dearborn City Hall, the 19th District Court, Dearborn Public Library, Dearborn Ice Skating Center, and the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center will be closed in observance of Independence Day, July 4.

Offices will reopen for regular business hours on July 5.

The Robert Herndon Dearborn Hills Golf Course, located at 1300 S. Telegraph Road will be open on July 4 from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tee times can be reserved by calling 313-563-4653.

Trash pick-up will be delayed one day beginning July 4.

Postal offices and retail counters will be closed on the Fourth of July. This means no mail deliveries or pick-ups on the holiday.

All offices and services will be open on July 3 and will resume normal operations again on July 5.
