What are two key issues for Dearborn?

One of the major issues in the city clerk’s office is a need to upgrade to state of the art computer technology. Up to date technology would provide our citizens with easier and faster access to the services our clerk’s office provides. Compared to other cities the size of Dearborn we are behind in the use of online services.

I would create an online system that would allow our citizens to do things like create licenses and permits. Additionally I would provide an e-mail follow up to the applicant with a listing of the current city ordinances that pertain to the particular license or permit they are applying for so they are aware of what is expected of them.
