Tickets Still Available for Dearborn Firefighters Burn Drive Car Raffle

One lucky winner will receive a brand new 2013 Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible on May 1.

There's a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible parked outside Les Stanford Chevrolet, and the Dearborn Fire Department plans to send it home with a lucky winner on May 1.

The 27th annual Dearborn Firefighters Burn Drive and Car Raffle is less than a week away, and organizers say there are still a few coveted $50 tickets left.

"We're close to a sell out, but we need the public's help to push us over the edge," firefighter Steve Worden said.

The ticket guarantees admission to the fundraiser, an open bar, food, live music by Dearborn Patch Editor Daniel Lai and "Delirious Love," and a chance of winning one of 24 prizes, including Detroit Tigers tickets, electronics, and vacation packages.

First prize is the Camaro, however the winning ticket holder can opt for $40,000 cash instead. Second prize is a Las Vegas trip worth $3,000, and third prize is a 50-inch flat-screen TV.

All of the money raised at the event will go to the Dearborn Firefighters Burn Drive, the DFD's charity that helps sick, burned and injured children.
