Dearborn Police Report No Incidents at Terry Jones Protest at Edsel Ford

Terry Jones' protest at a Dearborn high school ends quietly, according to police.

Dearborn police said there were no arrests Wednesday at a protest held by Terry Jones at Edsel Ford High School.

Jones returned to Dearborn on Wednesday “to protest the bullying of non-Muslim students,” according to a press release from Stand Up America Now on behalf of Jones.

But there were only a handful of Jones' supporters at the protest. A small group of counter-protesters, including some from the southeast Michigan-based activist group By Any Means Necessary, also were present.

But there were no incidents near Edsel Ford, according to Dearborn police.
