Police Investigate 7 Car Larcenies in Dearborn

Statistics are according to CrimeMapping.com, as reported by the Dearborn Police Department.

The Dearborn Police Department is encouraging residents to report suspicious activity directly to officers via a crime tip line.

The suspicious activity phone line is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is directly linked to the Police Dispatch Center. Residents can remain anonymous when calling. 

Report any suspicious people or cars in your neighborhood to the police.

Examples of suspicious activity may include: 
•Vehicles that do not belong in the area. 
• Vehicles that are observed circling the area. 
• People on foot who are not familiar to you. 
• People who are observed looking into vehicles or attempting to open vehicles. 

There were multiple vehicle larcenies around the city this week. Here's a look at when and where the crimes happened:

• June 29: A home burglary was reported in the 16100 block of Longmeadow Street at 11 a.m.

• June 28: A robbery was reported in the 23700 block of West Michigan Avenue at 3:05 a.m.

• June 27: A car break-in was reported in the 2600 block of Saulino Court at 1:30 p.m.

• June 27: A car break-in was reported at the intersection of Bowles and East Ford Road at 12:07 p.m.

• June 26: A robbery of a banking institution in the 13600 block of Michigan Avenue occurred at 4:22 p.m.

• June 25: A vehicle theft was reported in the 14500 block of Michigan Avenue at 2:25 p.m.

• June 25: A car break-in was reported in the 1700 block of Venice Street at midnight.

• June 24: A robbery was reported in the 10000 block of Lapeer Street at 7:50 p.m.

• June 24: A car break-in was reported in the 6200 block of Mercury Drive at 1:57 p.m.

• June 24: A car break-in was reported in the 3200 block of Wyoming Street at 9:28 a.m.

• June 23: A car break-in was reported in the 3000 block of Wyoming Street at 9:48 a.m.

• June 23: A robbery was reported in the 13200 block of Hemlock Street at 8:31 p.m.

• June 23: A car break-in was reported on Crescent Court at 11 a.m.
