have arrested three men on charges of armed robbery, the department announced Monday.
According to police, the men have been charged in connection with the June 27 armed robbery of the on Michigan Avenue near Greenfield Road. The robbery occurred around 7:30 p.m.
Xzavier Warren, 18; Damario Gardner, 18; and Theo Alderman, 20, were all charged with the felony offense of armed robbery. Warren and Gardner were also charged for conspiracy. All three Detroit residents were arraigned in Dearborn's .
According to Lt. Douglas Topolski, Dearborn police recieved a call that night from the store about a hold-up in progress. When police arrived, the manager of the store pointed out three men, who were still in the area and in the process of fleeing the scene.
Police were able to apprehend the men, who were identified as Gardner, Alderman and Warren.
This was the second robbery of that Kroger store in June. The first occurred on June 10, and involved a man with an orange ski mask stealing $5,000 cash from the store.
According to the Detroit News, the perpetrator in that case was unarmed and no one was hurt.
