Four vehicles were broken into Thursday morning between 8:45 and 10 a.m., on Henry Ford Community College's East Campus, HFCC reported.

The thefts occurred in the parking lot near the area of Schaefer and Rotunda Drive, between the Nursing and M-TEC buildings.

Entry was gained into the vehicles by breaking the passenger side windows.

Purses were taken from two of the vehicles, the in-dash radio was taken from the third vehicle, and loose change was taken from the fourth vehicle.

The Dearborn Police Department responded to the scene for a follow up investigation. There are no suspects at this time.

so funny and guess what / my son was in class a cpl of mths ago .....and they broke my husbands Ford Focus Glass ..where are the security guards ......we pay for service and this is what we are getting including a huge portion of students who do not pay their Tuition / but take the student loans and guess what .....HFCC is stuck and so are the residents of Dearborn and the rest of the Students at HFCC who do pay/ ...something needs to be done with allowing our Taxes to be thrown away to students who are cheating us tax payers and other students....../ I cannot wait until my son is done / he only has 2 semester's left in his 1st year // he will be off to a much nicer College then/

Wow.....so obviously, any student who takes student aid is also a thief! Clearly, we all need to protect ourselves from the majority of the college population! Thanks for alerting us, Linda!!

Let's get these campus cops out of the office and in unmarked cars to protect these kids. The flashing lights is a signal for trouble makers to move elsewhere. They (robbers) can see the kids leaving their cars and know they will be gone for at least an hour.

The way I see it, if I am security @ $7.00/hr you will get what $7.00/hr is worth. The administration, President/VP's and school board, are only interested in the bottom line and not the decisions they make or how those decisions affect the student which is the very reason they have a job.
