1930 Model A Classic Car Stolen from Henry Ford Museum Parking Lot in Dearborn
A classic car—a Model A—was taken from the Henry Ford Museum Parking lot in Dearborn, along with the Ford truck towing it. Police are looking for help finding the vehicles and the person who took them.
are enlisting the public's help in locating a classic car stolen from the parking lot last week–and the person who took it.
According to police, between 9 a.m.-5:55 p.m. on June 26, a 2001 Ford F-250 towing an enclosed Iner Carrier Road Runner Trailer was stolen from the museum's parking lot. Inside the trailer was a 1930 Classic Ford Model A convertible.
Police say the owner of the truck and the Model A, a resident of California, was in Dearborn visiting the museum when the theft occurred.

The Ford F-250 is white on top and gold on the bottom, with a NASCAR sticker and license plte rim. The California license plate number is 6P95642. The trailer is a white, 2-axel model, with the California license plate number 4JT5217
The 1930 Ford Model A is yellow with black and chrome fenders and a brown convertible top. The VIN is A2970284 and the license plate number is 670RHG.

Anyone with information on the stolen vehicles or suspects is asked to use the HEAT (Help Eliminate Auto Theft) tip line at 1-800-242-HEAT, or www.1800242HEAT.com.
There is up to a $1,000 reward offered by HEAT for information leading to the arrest, recovery and prosecution and a $1,000 reward offered by the vehicle owner for the return of the Model A.
