What do you do with a stolen Model A, anyway? Can't really be easily sold for parts, right?

Probably an evil billionaire who wants it because of the color scheme, so he/she can add it to their private, never to be seen by the public, subterranean based antique car collection.

Maybe the person wants to sell it so they can pay their new city tax bill. Thanks for the transparency Mayor. You forgot to mention taxes would go up 25%. Shouldn't your city council or assessor be honest with the residents? You, city council and your corporation council are history! And please, don't give us the BS that we are paying the same as 2008. I could sell my house then!!

I have reviewed my past tax bills dating back to the late 90's, to see how much my tax installment payments have racked UP. As close as 2004, those installments have been in the high 200's. At the end of the housing bubble, those installments have increased from the high 300's to almost 500 dollars per installment today. From 2005 to the popping of the bubble, my SEV was 60,000. Today, that SEV is 26,000...but the level of taxation is the same as during that bubble. I'm sorry City/County tax sponges. This cannot go on this way. Starting with Wayne County. There has to be a Federal Investigation of corruption...of ALL kinds and prison sentences have to be metted out. As for the City of Dbn. All you city employees, cops, fire, office sponges, and all you self-entitled ppl who want to keep what you think is yours at the expense of 95% of the population of this city have to GO. There has to be MAJOR cutbacks...at ALL levels. The present conditions the way they exist, can NO longer be tolerated by the tax serfs.

Phyllis, this isn't about taxes! I'm sure the CA man has paid more for both of those stolen vehicles than Dbn residents have paid in taxes since 2008 combined. Your comment is not necessary and u r complaining about something that isn't even mentioned in this article. It's like that golden rule: if u have nothing nice to say (or helpful in this case) don't say anything at all.

Keeping to the topic. I remember years ago, when I was a child, my next door neighbor had a Ford Model T pickup. It was is pride and joy and he often took me for rides, sometimes to load the truck up for firewood for this fireplace. I earned my first wristwatch, a Timex, for helping him load that wood.

Say, was there a security camera around during this heist? What do you bet that this classic made it overseas by now?
