Man's Truck Reportedly Damaged in Dearborn by Vengeful Ex

The following information was supplied by the Dearborn Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A man's issues with an angry ex-girlfriend turned into a police issue on Nov. 29, according to Dearborn police reports.

The man—a resident of Southfield—came to the Dearborn Police Department Thursday evening, claiming that earlier that day, his former flame had taken a baseball bat to his Ford Excursion.

According the report, the SUV was parked in a lot at the man's work—14th Avenue Cartage Company—at 4401 Stecker in Dearborn. Around 9:30 a.m., he and a coworker reportedly saw his ex-girlfriend hitting the vehicle with a baseball bat, smashing out a headlight and damaging the front bumper.

He waited until after work to report the incident, but shared with police that she had sent a foreboding text message before committing the act, telling him, "I'm bout to bust yo windows."

The man told police that the pair has a child, but that they are no longer dating, and he doesn't know why she was upset with him.

Police advised him to save the text message.

Has a child, but no longer dating? They cannot commit to each other, let alone a baby. They deserve each other but no child deserves this. All this fool is worried about is his truck.

'I'm bout to bust yo windows' - do I detect an accent?

Pam I be conserved about my truck too if someone beat it up as well. If she blew out the headlights he can't drive at night and maybe that's when he could go get the kid. The point of this isn't that they can't commit. He clearly knew things with this women where off and well turns out he's right. I hope he not only gets his kid out of this deal (if he doesn't all reay) and gets his car fixed. This is just a case of someone not being able to be a big girl and handle life.

He" doesn't know why she was upset". (?) Lets see..".the pair has a child". Question...does the daddy pay child support ? Girls, always make sure that contraception is employed. Or...better yet...wait until wedlock. That way you don't have to vandalise trucks.
