Man's Truck Reportedly Damaged in Dearborn by Vengeful Ex

The following information was supplied by the Dearborn Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A man's issues with an angry ex-girlfriend turned into a police issue on Nov. 29, according to Dearborn police reports.

The man—a resident of Southfield—came to the Dearborn Police Department Thursday evening, claiming that earlier that day, his former flame had taken a baseball bat to his Ford Excursion.

According the report, the SUV was parked in a lot at the man's work—14th Avenue Cartage Company—at 4401 Stecker in Dearborn. Around 9:30 a.m., he and a coworker reportedly saw his ex-girlfriend hitting the vehicle with a baseball bat, smashing out a headlight and damaging the front bumper.
