Man Loses Temper Over Prescription, Steals Razors from Oakwood Pharmacy

The following information was supplied by the Dearborn Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Dearborn police are looking for a man who allegedly argued with pharmacists about his prescription before taking off with a package of Gillette Fusion razors.

According to reports, on Sept. 30, police were dispatched to the Oakwood Hospital pharmacy around 3:54 p.m. in response to a larceny that had just occurred.

Employees told officers that a black male in his 30s, approximately 5 feet tall, attempted to refill a prescription. When the request was denied, the man became upset and removed three packages of razors valued at $23.66 from the pharmacy shelf.

The man fled the store in a black Mercedes Benz but not before one of the employees was able to write down his license plate number.

Employees said they believe the man visited the pharmacy several times in the past. The man was wearing a black jacket and jeans with a white striped shirt at the time of the theft.

Surveillance videos were forwarded to the police for further investigation.
