Lawn Mower Stolen from Garage in Dearborn

Dearborn police officers are investigating the theft of a lawn mower from a garage in the 2000 block of Salina Street on June 2.
According to police reports, officers were dispatched to the home in response to a breaking and entering complaint. Upon arrival, a 36-year-old man informed police that sometime between midnight on June 1 and 1 p.m. on June 2, an unknown suspect or suspects pried open the side of his garage and stole a $300 Toro lawn mower.
Officers inspected the property but didn't find any damage to the garage door or lock. The homeowner told police that he believes the suspect fled through the back alley after taking the lawn mower.
