Inebriated Man Refuses to Pay Bill, Arrested at Dearborn Restaurant

Dearborn police arrested a man Saturday at T.G.I. Friday's for disorderly conduct and attempting to skip out on his bill, according to department reports.
Police were called to the restaurant at 720 Town Center Drive just after 7:30 p.m. on Saturday based on reports that a customer was refusing to pay his $114 bill.
The man, a Taylor resident, told police that he didn't intend to pay his bill and wasn't going to leave. The man, police said, was visibly intoxicated and began shouting in the crowded restaurant, making a scene.

Officers informed the man that if he didn't pay his bill and exit calmly, he was going to be arrested. The man refused, and resisted arrest until officers pinned him against a table and cuffed him.
The man was taken in and charged with defrauding an innkeeper, disorderly intoxication and resisting an officer.
