Fire Engulfs Garage in East Dearborn Neighborhood
The Dearborn Fire Department responded to the fire around 1:30 p.m. Monday.
A fire destroyed the garage of an east Dearborn home on Monday.
Reports of smoke coming from a garage came in to the Dearborn Fire Department around 1:30 p.m. Firefighters responded from stations 1, 3 and 4 at to battle the blaze at the home on Esper Boulevard near the intersection of Appoline Street.
The fire began in the ranch-style home's attached garage. Firefighters were able to stop the fire's spread into the house; however, the garage was destroyed.
