Faraj Sentenced to 23 to 45 Years in Prison in Basketball Shooting

Fadi Hassan Faraj of Dearborn received a sentence of 23 to 45 years in prison on second-degree murder charges in the death of Hassan Zeidan.

A Dearborn man was sentenced to 23 to 45 years in prison on second-degree murder charges in the shooting death of another man after a basketball game, according to Fox 2 Detroit.

received his sentence Monday in Wayne County Circuit Court in Detroit. Last month, in the death of Hassan Zeidan.

Zeidan, 23, of Dearborn, was shot and killed after a fight on the basketball court behind Riverside West Academy on Schaefer Road on July 13, 2011.
