East Dearborn Home Damaged by Fire

A fire began in the attic in a home on Curtis and damaged much of the house. The family was able to escape safely.

A Monday night fire damaged much of the interior of a home on Curtis Street north of Colson, but did not injure any of the members of the family living there.

The fire began just after 10 p.m. and four fire trucks responded to the scene; first from , then from All members of the family were out of the home by the time fire trucks arrived.

The fire began in the attic of the home, although the cause is not yet known.
