Dearborn's Miller Named to State Fire Safety Board

Fire chief is one of six people appointed to the panel by Gov. Rick Snyder.

Richard Miller was named to the State Fire Safety Board by Gov. Rick Snyder on Tuesday, according to a press release.

Miller will serve a four-year term that expires on July 15, 2015. He will represent firefighters in the Lower Peninsula.

The State Fire Safety Board develops standards for state-owned and leased buildings, including schools, prisons and health care facilities.

Snyder also appointed John Enkemann, Donald Hicks, Ralph Hodek, Kassandra Renneberg and Leslie Rodwell to the board.
