Dearborn Woman Killed in Car Accident Wednesday
Police say the crash appeared to be accidental.
A 42-year-old Dearborn woman was killed in a car accident Wednesday morning, Dearborn police confirmed.
Police say the woman was attempting to cross Outer Drive near Willow Street at around 7:52 a.m. when her Mustang was struck by a Buick Rendezvous driven by a 35-year-old Dearborn man who was driving southeast on Outer Drive.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her 12-year-old daughter, who was also in the car, was transported to Oakwood Hospital and then to Children's Hospital for "visible but not life-threatening" injuries, according to police.
A release from the Dearborn Police Department indicates that at this time, it appears the crash was an accident, and that neither drugs nor alcohol were involved. An investigation is continuing.
