Dearborn Police Remind Residents to Stay Vigilant Following Robberies

It was a busy week for the Dearborn Police Department. Major crimes included five vehicle thefts, four armed robberies and several burglaries around the city.

Here's a look at when and where the crimes happened:

• Aug. 30: A burglary of a non-residence was reported in the 6600 block of Orchard Street at 8:40 p.m.

• Aug. 30: A home invasion was reported in the 6000 block of Orchard Street at 6:51 p.m.

• Aug. 30: A vehicle theft was reported in the 1200 block of Linden Street at 6:04 a.m.

• Aug. 30: A vehicle theft was reported in the 3000 block of S. Miller Street at 4:43 a.m.

• Aug. 29: A vehicle theft was reported in the 3000 block of Schaefer Street at 6:30 p.m.

• Aug. 29: A vehicle break-in was reported in the 13600 block of Colson Street at 2 a.m.

• Aug. 28: A vehicle theft was reported near the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Eugene Street at 9:52 p.m.

• Aug. 28: A robbery was reported in the 18900 block of W. Michigan Avenue at 3:02 p.m.

• Aug. 28: A vehicle break-in was reported in the 5400 block of Maple Street at 7:48 a.m.

• Aug. 28: A vehicle break-in was reported near Prestwick Court at 4 a.m.

• Aug. 27: A vehicle break-in was reported in the area of Bingham Street and Haggerty at 7:15 a.m.

• Aug. 26: A vehicle break-in was reported in the area of Turnberry Lane at 9 p.m.

• Aug. 26: A burglary was reported in the 400 block of N. Telegraph Road at 8:30 p.m.

• Aug. 26: A burglary was reported in the 2700 block of S. Telegraph Road at 8 p.m.

• Aug. 26: A vehicle break-in was reported in the 24700 block of Dartmouth Street at 5:20 p.m.

• Aug. 26: A vehicle theft was reported in the 20900 block of Oakwood Boulevard at 9:23 a.m.

• Aug. 25: A robbery of a business was reported in the 2700 block of S. Telegraph Road at 7:44 p.m.

• Aug. 25: A street robbery was reported in the 800 block of N. Denwood Street at 4:27 p.m.

• Aug. 25: A vehicle break-in was reported in the 18100 block of Oakwood Boulevard at 2:45 p.m.

• Aug. 25: A burglary of a non-residence was reported in the 22200 block of Michigan Avenue at 2:21 p.m.

• Aug. 25: A burglary of a residence was reported in the 5900 block of Steadman at 11:16 a.m.

• Aug. 25: A burglary of a non-residence was reported in the 19100 block of W. Ford Road at 4:56 a.m.

• Aug. 24: A street robbery was reported in the area of Evergreen and Hubbard Drive at 3:27 p.m.
