Dearborn Police Seek Suspect in Friday Daytime Robbery at Macy's

The man took jewelry valued at "a very large dollar amount", authorities say.

Dearborn Police are asking for help in identifying a man wanted in connection with a daytime robbery Friday at Macy's department store on Michigan Avenue. 

According to a press release, the man was in the store at around 10:45 a.m. and made off with "a very large dollar amount" in jewelry. He is described as about 6-feet-4-inches tall with a large build, and 30 to 40 years old.

The man wore a green knit cap and a black jacket. A logo on the back of the jacket consists of a large capital “D”, with the image of a panther underneath; a large capital “P" is below the panther.
