Dearborn Police Looking For Armed Robbery Suspect

The man, who appears in a surveillance video, is wanted for robbing the Marathon gas station on Ford Road east of Telegraph.

Dearborn police are asking for the public's help in finding a suspect that is believed to have robbed the Marathon gas station located on Ford Road east of Telegraph at gunpoint.

According to police, the man approached the on-duty attendant on Sept. 12, produced a handgun and demanded money. The attendant gave the man the money, and the suspect ran out of the store with it.  

The incident was captured on the gas station's surveillance camera. 

The suspect is described as a black man who appears to be in his late 20s or early 30s, approximately 5’9” tall, medium build, wearing a baseball cap with a “D” on the front, a blue and orange Detroit Tigers jersey, and white and black athletic shorts.

The Dearborn Police Department is requesting assistance from the public to identify this person.

"The community’s assistance in identifying the suspect is a crucial part of this investigation," said Dearborn Chief of Police Ronald Haddad.
