Dearborn Police Arrest Three Suspects for Multiple Burglaries

All three subjects were arraigned by 19th District Court Judge Mark Somers, each with a $100,000 cash bond.

Dearborn Police responded to a number of business burglaries on the morning of Jan. 25, in the area of Warren and Schaefer.  

Responding officers combed the area for suspects and located two on foot and one in a vehicle. Police arrested Detroit residents Deardis Maddox, Calvin Williams and Diamond Mitchell after recovering a number of stolen items linking the subjects to multiple burglaries.

The Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office approved complaints against all three subjects for Breaking & Entering-Building with Intent on Monday, Jan. 27.  Mitchell was also charged with License Documents/Plates-Forgery.

All three subjects were arraigned by 19th District Court Judge Mark Somers on Monday, and their bond was set at $100,000 cash or surety for each.  

A preliminary exam is scheduled for Friday Feb. 7, 2014 at 9 a.m.

"These arrests have cleared multiple burglary cases and we are glad to have been able to put an end to this group's criminal activities," said Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad, "The Patrol officers are commended for their quick response and thorough search resulting in these arrests."
