Village Coin Shop Fire Under Investigation
The cause of the Monday morning fire and the extent of damage to the Dearborn building is under review.
The Dearborn Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of a fire that occurred Monday at the Village Coin Shop, 942 Monroe Blvd.
Fire crews were dispatched to the scene Monday morning. Dearborn Fire Chief Joseph Murray said he is reviewing the report, and did not have any information to release to the media as of 4:45 p.m. Monday afternoon.
Village Coin Shop is located north of Michigan Avenue near the former Dearborn Music store.
