UPDATE: Armed Robbery, Bomb Threat Made at Dearborn Check 'n Go

Dearborn police are still searching for two suspects in the Wednesday morning crime. Crime Stoppers is also offering an award for information leading to the arrest.

are searching for two suspects who allegedly robbed the located on Michigan Avenue near Greenfield Road Wednesday morning.

At 10:30 a.m., police responded to the store, which is located inside of Family Dollar, on a report of an armed robbery and bomb threat.

According to witnesses, a black male and black female, both thought to be in their mid-20s, entered the store and approached employees, demanding money. Both suspects were armed with handguns, and forced employees to a corner of the store.

The suspects then advised the employees that they had placed a duffle bag containing a bomb near the door, which they would activate if anyone attempted to follow them.

The male was described as wearing light-colored blue jeans and a dark blue hoodie, while the female was wearing a turquoise jacket and jeans. Both were wearing sunglasses.

Dearborn police, including the department's bomb team, responded to the scene, evacuating the Check n' Go, as well as neighboring businesses. Police evaluated the device and determined that it was not an explosive.
