Alleged Drunk Driver Hits Tow Truck, Flips Car on Greenfield Road

Minor injuries were reported in the two-car accident on Tuesday in Dearborn.

Dearborn Police are investigating the cause of a two-vehicle accident on Greenfield Road that left one person injured.

The accident occurred around 4 p.m. Tuesday between Greenfield Road and Blesser Street, police said.

According to Cpl. Alan Leveille, a 74-year-old Detroit man was driving northbound on Greenfield Road when his Ford Fusion struck a tow truck facing south on Blesser Street after completing a lefthand turn. The force of the impact flipped the Fusion.

Leveille said the man was taken to an area hospital and treated for minor injuries. Police said alcohol may have contributed to the accident.
