Working on Thanksgiving?

When hired , it was a sure bet that people were told they would have to work thanksgiving, black Friday, Christmas eve, etc. People want a job, they say yes, then when the time comes they want to complain about working holidays.  A simple solution.  Don't work in retail. You have the free will to work in retail, or not.  And if you don't want to shop on thanksgiving then don't. The retail stores are open on thanksgiving for a reason....Because there is a demand for it. So while some people will be home--plenty of people will be working off those huge turkey meals by shopping. I plan to be home, the presses will be quiet.  America is a land of choice, and that includes family traditions regarding  holidays.
