Dollar Sense

In 1968 the minimum wage was $1.60. The purchasing power of that $1.60 would translate into $9.75 today, more than two dollars of what the minimum wage is today, $7.50. A minimum wage of $10.50  today is in the ball park of matching the purchasing power of what $1.60 was in 1968.  It makes sense/cents.    P3
