Compare and Contrast

Compare and Contrast- During Bush's presidency, Putin invaded Georgia. Bush protested and threatened repercussions. Russian soldiers stayed in Georgia. Under Obama, Putin's intervention in Ukraine, including amassing three hundred thousand soldiers along its borders, not only drew sharp criticism, but economic sanctions against Putin's wealthy crony network of supporters. Putin backed down.  By the way, the Georgia spoke of here is in eastern Europe, not the Georgia in southeast United States, which is occupied by the KKK.   P3
