Donate to Goodwill, Get Biggby Discounts with Dollars for Jobs

The fundraiser encourages Metro Detroiters to collect funds for Goodwill. In return, they'll get a drink discount at their local Biggby Coffee.

A unique fundraising initiative will pair up Biggby Coffee and Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit in an effort to fight unemployment in southeast Michigan.

The initiative, called “Dollars for Jobs – Pass It Forward,” runs Sunday, Sept. 9,  through Sunday, Sept. 30, and residents can help by adding their $1 to donation envelopes that can be found in the Sunday editions of local Detroit newspapers or downloaded online. Once their dollar is added, the envelope is to be continually passed on so others can do the same.

Once an envelope contains at least $25, they are to be return to one of 43 participating Biggby Coffee locations, where the returnee is then eligible for a special drink discount.
