"America's Watchdog," John Dingell, Votes Like a Typical Politician, Not an Advocate for the People
Cynthia Kallgren, Republican candidate for U. S. Congress in the 12th district of Michigan reprimands John Dingell for voting against the bill to audit the United States Federal Reserve.
I applaud the U. S. House of Representatives for voting to audit the Federal Reserve. I am disappointed that John Dingell, who was once considered a watchdog in Washington, voted against openness, accountability and transparency in our government. After 57 years, John is now one of the good ol' boys who cares more about his friends in D.C. than representing the concerns of the people of his district.
Ron Paul has championed this call for transparency by demanding that "we should have openness of government all the time." This is a tribute to the man who has stimulated many to rethink our policies in Washington, D.C. and has energized many young people to get involved with politics. I would urge the Senate to pass this bill as well.
Americans are tired of the government growing bigger and less accountable every day while at the same time raising taxes, increasing regulations, and writing laws for its citizens that the lawmakers don't follow.

I will be a voice for the people of the(new) 12th District, not the status quo and Washington lobbyists to whom my opponent has become loyal. After all, he gets 76% off his multimillion dollar campaign contributions from lobbyists. If elected to represent you I will vote for accountability, smaller government, and transparency for the people of the 12th district of Michigan.
