Your Guide to Halloween and Fall Events in Dearborn

October brings a month of haunted happenings to metro Detroit. What's your favorite one in Dearborn?

Halloween Weekends at Camp Dearborn

This year visitors can enjoy three weekends of activities, on Oct. 12-14, 19-21 and 26-28. Events include trick-or-treating, hayrides, pumpkin carving, a magic show and more. See the full schedule on Dearborn Patch.

Hallowe'en at Greenfield Village

Held weekends Oct. 12-28 at The Henry Ford. The Village is all decked out in a scary fashion for this annual family-friendly event. Admission includes a walk through the "haunted" village, included treat stops. Costumes encouraged! Get tickets at www.thehenryford.org.

Spooky, Crafty Fun

A drop-in craft event for kids of all ages, held Oct. 18 at the Henry Ford Centennial Library. No registration necessary, but crafts will only be available while supplies last, so arrive early!

Haunted Halloween at the AANM

The Arab American National Museum invites families to trick or treat in costumes on Oct. 20. The event promises to be "merry, not scary" for all-ages fun. Tickets are $8 at the door, or $7 in advance online. Adults admitted free.

Glass Pumpkin Fest

The Glass Academy's signature fall event returns for a third year on Oct. 20-21. Pick up your favorite glass pumpkin, or have one made by a live glass blower. Admission is free. Or, pay to shop early at the Pumpkin Preview Party on Oct. 18..

Halloween Crafting

Hosted by Close to my Heart consultant Kathleen Rensel of Dearborn, this will take place at the St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Westland on Oct. 20. Cost is $45, which includes lunch and dinner.

Horns & Howls XII

Join the Motor City Brass Band on Oct. 21 for a concert of Halloween-inspired music at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center. Costumes welcome! Tickets are $12.

Boo Bash

A Dearborn favorite! Held Oct. 23 at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center, the annual event invites local youth to put on their best costumes and gather candy around The Center. Tickets are $10 and must be purchased by Oct. 20.

Dearborn Firefighters Burn Drive Halloween Fundraiser

Held on Oct. 27, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Dearborn. Wear a costume and support the burn drive, which assists families displaced by fire. Adults only—open bar!

Monster Bash Craft

A crafting session for tweens in grades four and up, held Oct. 27 at the Henry Ford Centennial Library. Registration begins Oct. 13 in the Youth Department.

Halloween Trick or Treat

Hosted at the Henry Ford Estate on Oct. 29, this event includes a loop of 10 stops for kids to gather treats at. Cost is $5 per child.
