GHOST LIGHT PLAYERS PERFORMS NEIL SIMON'S PLAZA SUITE

Ghost Light Players is proud to present Neil Simon’s Plaza Suite.  This is the first show of the 2013-2014 season for Ghost Light Players, as well as the theatre group’s inaugural show under their new name.  The group was formerly known as Dearborn Heights Civic Theatre..

Composed of three acts, Plaza Suite takes you inside Suite 719 of New York City's Plaza Hotel throughout the course of a year.

During Visitor From Mamaroneck, you will become acquainted with Sam and Karen Nash, played by Philip Booth (Dearborn) and Valerie Haas (Inkster).  Karen makes a reservation for Suite 719, her and Sam’s honeymoon suite, hoping to rekindle their romance.  Does her plan work?  Assisting Karen and Sam during their stay is the bellhop played by Michael Kinnell (Dearborn), the waiter played by Brian Tillman (Dearborn), and Sam’s secretary, Jean McCormack played by Andrea McGrath (Garden City).

Jesse Kiplinger played by Jeff Flannery (Southgate) is the next guest we meet checking-in to Suite 719 in Visitor from Hollywood.  Jesse is a famous movie producer in town on business, and possibly pleasure, with his former flame, Muriel Tate played by Joelle Schade (South Lyon).  Muriel, who is now married with children, visits Jesse only to catch up and hear about his star studded career.  Is the visit simply all talk?

The Hubley family has checked-in to Suite 719 for a wedding in Visitor from Forest Hills.  Roy and Norma Hubley played by Sean Randolph (Canton)  and Margaret Kinnell (Dearborn), along with a little help from their son-in-law to be, Borden Eisler played by Barret Kaltz (Canton), attempt to help Mimsey Hubley played by Emily Gedert (Canton) get over her case of cold feet.  Will Mimsey walk down the aisle?
