Oakwood Common Hosts Book Signing Event

Oakwood Common invites the public to attend to a book signing of the second published edition of Best Dearborn Stories: Voices from Henry Ford’s Hometown.  The event will be held in the Rotunda Room of the Oakwood Common campus.

On hand for the book signing will be seven Oakwood Common residents whose stories are featured in the book.  They include Marguerite Doman, Winifred Goeboro, Bunny Hoganson, Ceil Pretty, Sylvia Rock, Stella Rozycki and George Stevens.  This is Doman’s second book signing. Her first story was published in book’s first edition published in 2011.

Books will be available for purchase at Oakwood Common on the day of the Book Signing.  Proceeds from the sale of the book, priced at $20 each, benefit the Dearborn Historical Museum.  Books can also be purchased at the museum’s gift shop at the McFadden-Ross House, located at 915 Brady Street in Dearborn.
