HFCC MLK Day of Service Jan. 21, 2013

MLK Day of Service is a one-time, one-day outreach activity that commemorates the philosophy and legacy of the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The event coordination is a collaborative effort with the University of Michigan-Dearborn and HFCC. Students, faculty, and staff from both institutions volunteer their time and service to help various local agencies with renovation, educational and social projects. MLK Day of Service will take place on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, beginning and ending on the UM-D campus (4901 Evergreen Rd). The HFCC campus will be closed on this day in observance of the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
