Carhartt Workshops at Detroit Mercantile Company

(Dearborn-based) Carhartt and (Eastern Market Detroit-based) Detroit Mercantile Company will be presenting the first in a series of three 2013 Carhartt Workshops on October 12 in the Warehouse event space at Detroit Mercantile Company.

10:00 AM - Noted Detroit artist and bricklayer Jerome Ferretti will give a FREE class on bricklaying and tuck pointing.

Coffee and snacks provided by Germack Coffee Roasters.

1:30 PM - Darrin Brouhard (of The Hub of Metro Detroit) will give a FREE class in how to make bicycle panniers (saddle-bag-type cargo baskets) from household up-cycled materials.
