Dearborn Heights Voters Decide Millage Question: Election Results

Last approved in 2004, the 18 mill tax provides $1.1 million in operating funds for the school district.

Voters in Dearborn Heights School District 7 have approved renewal of its 18-mill levy for 10 years to fund general operations.

The vote was 484 voters for the proposal and 204 against it, for a 70 percent approval rate, according to unofficial Wayne County election results.

Last renewed in 2004, the levy provides $1.1 million annually for the school district for personnel, textbooks and other educational purposes.
