Whiz Kid: Fordson Student Amena Bazzi Aims High, Honored in Contest

Allison Amena Bazzi is an honors student at Fordson who also takes college-level classes, writes for fun and just won second place in an MLK scholarship contest.

Allison Amena Bazzi is a Fordson senior who loves to write poetry and short stories, holds a 4.0 GPA and takes college-level classes at Henry Ford Community College. As if that weren't enough, she also just won second place in an MLK scholarship contest, for which she was honored at a Feb. 11 ceremony held at the in Dearborn.

For these reasons, she's our Dearborn Patch Whiz Kid this week.
