Here are some of the highlights of the week.

Why Go: Hear great music from Grammy Award-winning neo-soul vocalist Chrisette Michele and jazz saxophonist Randy Scott, all while raising funds for local youth in need. For $100, a strolling buffet dinner with live music in the Hubbard Ballroom precedes the performance.

Why Go: Raise funds for the Dearborn Rotary Club's scholarhip program by listening to an hour of Dearborn teachers, business owners and more get funky to their favorite tunes.

Where/When: 's Fairlane South Building, 6:30-10 p.m. Friday

Why Go: This event raises funds for scholarships from the College of Arts, Science and Letters. Enjoy a strolling dinner, local wines, live music and more.

4. THE ODD COUPLE

Where/When: auditorium, 7:30 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday

Why Go: Ever seen a female Odd Couple? You can see both this week with the DHS Theater Program's productions, which alternate between the male and female versions.

Where/When: Lindbergh Elementary School, 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday

Why Go: Get an early start on your holiday shopping while helping to raise money for the school! The sale will include baked goods, raffles and crafts.
