Tonight: Vigil for Victims of CT School Shooting at Dearborn City Hall

The public event begins at 6 p.m.

The Young Leaders Committee of the Lebanese American Heritage Club will join with local students to host a candlelight vigil for the victims of the Newtown, CT, school shooting on Monday at 6 p.m. at Dearborn City Hall.

Twenty-six people—including 20 children—were killed in the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary on Friday, Dec. 15.

Other involved groups in the Dearborn vigil include the Arab Student Union of the University of Michigan-Dearborn, the Young Leaders Committee of Fordson High School, the Lebanese American Heritage Club - Henry Ford Community College Chapter, and the Arab Student Union of Wayne State University.

People of all ages are welcome to attend.
