Five things you need to know to start your day in Dearborn.

1. The rain will likely continue in Dearborn today, says the National Weather Service. The high temperature today will be near 64 degrees, and the rain will hopefully die down later in the day.

2. The Dearborn Education Foundation is hosting at the Michael Berry Career Center, while honoring educator and the building's namesake, Sir Michael Berry, as well as Congressman John Dingell. Attend for free from 4:30 to 7 p.m., but be sure to make a donation. Money given will go toward supporting programs and supplies for Dearborn Public Schools.

3. Give blood today! The Student Nurse Association will be hosting an between 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Register to donate at redcrossblood.org.

4. The Dearborn Democrats will be hosting a tonight at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held at the , located at 1226 Monroe Street in Dearborn, and is open to all who wish to attend.
