Five things you need to know to start your day in Dearborn.

Ready to start your day? Here's what you need to know.

1. Clouds and rain rolled in overnight, but will be clearing up today, according to the National Weather Service. But as the sun increases, so will the wind. Expect gusts as fast as 20 miles per hour during the day, with winds dying down later in the evening.

2. Dearborn City Council will have its regular meeting tonight at in the Council Chambers. The meeting begins at 7 p.m.–and if you can't make it, you can find all the important happenings on Dearborn Patch tonight.

3. Also tonight are a few chances to have some Halloween fun. Halloween Trick-or-Treating in the Gardens takes place at 7 p.m. on the grounds of the Henry Ford Estate. Tickets are $5 and can be reserved by calling 313-701-2240 or 313-701-2241. Kids can dress up and collect treats around the estate gardens.

4. Not into being outdoors? The Dearborn Public Library is hosting another Blockbuster Free Movie Night at the . Catch a showing of the horror classic "Creature From the Black Lagoon" at 7 p.m. in the auditorium.

5. In honor of Dearborn's automotive heritage, we bring you Ford Facts. Today's Ford Fact: Ford Motor Company announced within the last week that they plan to start making their popular European Transit van in the U.S. They hope to start offering it by 2013.
