1. There's only one way to describe today's weather: perfect. According to the National Weather Service, today will be sunny skies all the way with a high near 78 degrees. A slight breeze, no clouds and no chance of rain.

3. 's Music Ministry will continue their with a performance on violin, flute and harps tonight at 7 p.m. All concerts are free, but freewill offerings are accepted.

4. The American House Senior Living Community of Dearborn Heights will be hosting its annual Independence Day/Patriot Day Picnic at 10:30 a.m. This free event will include a performance by the Plymouth Fife and Drum Corps, concluding with the National Anthem. Period costumes encouraged.

5. In honor of Dearborn's automotive heritage, we bring you Ford Facts. Today's fact: The Ford Motor Company Rouge Plant was the nation's top single-source producer of aircraft engines during World War II. Plant workers produced a total of 57,851 aircraft engines, 7.2 percent of the national total, during the war.
