Ready to start your day? Here's what you need to know.

1. Picnic lunch alert! All you outdoor lovers in Dearborn, take note: The perfect late spring day is here. With a high of 73 degrees, sunny skies and a decent breeze, the National Weather Service predicts a beautiful day. It may be Monday, but you can still enjoy the weather–with sundown now happening past 9 p.m., we're into some of the longest days of the year.

2. Speaking of picnics, have you checked out our list of the top five ? The Henry Ford Estate and top our list. Add your own favorite picnic sports if you want to share with other fans of outdoor eating.

3. It's the second Monday of the month, which means free activities at , courtesy of Macy's. Enjoy hands-on activities, live entertainment, crafts and storytelling as part of your family's admission. Entrance to Greenfield Village is $22, $21 for seniors, $16 for youth and free for members and children under 5.

4. The Dearborn Public Schools Board of Education meets tonight at 7 p.m. in the Administrative Services Center on Audette. On the agenda will be discussion about the district's 2011-12 budget, so we suggest you attend if you want to speak your mind about a particular item!
