1. More sunny summer weather is here today, according to the National Weather Service. But the high will hit near 90 degrees today, so make sure to stay cool with water and shade, Dearborn. A slight chance of thunderstorms will threaten tonight, but are unlikely.

2. If you're griping about being back to work after the long weekend, here's a way to procrastinate: Tune in to the Craig Fahle show on WDET 101.9 FM at 10:30 a.m. to hear Dearborn Patch editor Jessica Carreras and local guests dish about Dearborn. You can even call in with questions and comments!

3. Session II of Dearborn's summer youth tennis lessons begins today. The class runs July 5-14 for kids ages 4-14, taught by the Dearborn Community Tennis Asociation. Costs vary per class. For more information, visit www.DearbornCTA.org.

5. In honor of Dearborn's automotive heritage, we bring you Ford Facts. Today's fact: In 1929, Ford Motor Company sold over a million vehicles for the first time ever. A total of 1,310,000 cars were sold that year by the company.
