Five things you need to know to start your day in Dearborn.

Ready to start your day? Here's what you need to know.

1. Sunny with a high near 85 degrees will turn cloudier with an increasing chance of rain on Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service. Bring an umbrella later in the day, when thunderstorms have a 40 percent chance of hitting Dearborn.

2. The first breakout session of the happens tonight at 7 p.m. The workshop, happening at the , will focus on Dearborn's east and south ends. This includes the Fordson East, Fordson West, Springwells and Salina neighborhoods. However, any Dearborn resident is welcome to attend and give input.

3. The takes place at 5:30 p.m. in front of the . This free event will include ceremonial activities by the Dearborn Allied War Veterans Council and a variety of Korean-American organizations, and will be followed by a reception at the Polish Legion of American Veterans Post #75.

4. Jazz on the Avenue returns to tonight at 7 p.m. The free community concert series presents a performance by Lin Roundtree. The concert will be moved to the in the event of rain.
