Five things you need to know to start your day in Dearborn.

Ready to start your day? Here's what you need to know.

1. Today, like last Monday, will have a moderate chance of thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service. But hopefully –70-mile-per-hour winds, power outages and property damage. The high temp will cap out around 91 degrees. Keep your fingers crossed that it's just a hot day, not a wet one.

2. Dearborn City Council meets tonight in the City Council Chambers at . The meeting starts at 7 p.m. Can't attend? Watch for meeting minutes afterward on Dearborn Patch.

3. Week five of the starts today. This week's theme is Music Week. Programs run 9 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, as well as 10 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m. Friday at a number of participating city parks. Call 313-943-2353 for more information.

4. Free movie night! The will be showing the 1966 film Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? at 7 p.m. in the auditorium as part of the Blockbuster Film Series.
