1. Still without power? Thankfully, today will be much cooler, according to the National Weather Service. High temps will top out around 77 degrees. A moderate wind and sunny skies will persist all day.

2. When you head to lunch (or dinner) today, be sure to eat at in west Dearborn. They're hosting a fundraiser all day for Lillian Haux, a little girl in need of a liver transplant. Read Lillian's story here.

3. is hosting a Jennifer Rose Evans and Rashad Woods. The signing will be followed by a monthly Green Brain Comic Jam, which features two or more artists collaborating on drawing or painting a comic page. The fun starts at 4 p.m.

4. Don't leave the east end! kicks off tonight in at 7 p.m. The series, sponsored by the , will start the summer off with performer Alexander Zonjic. Lawn chairs and blankets for sitting on are welcome at this free outdoor show.
