1. Partly sunny skies this morning will transition to a cloudier day this afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. But despite the lack of sun, the high for today will hit near 87 degrees, with a slight wind. There's a slight chance of storms tonight, but the real thing to watch out for is the air.

An air quality alert is in effect throughout Friday. Residents of Wayne and surrounding counties are encouraged not to fill up their gas tanks today, and to try to be more eco-friendly. Have asthma? You may want to avoid prolonged exposure to the outdoor air.
