1. Thursday will stay partly to mostly cloudy all day, says the National Weather Service. The high will be a relatively mild 83 degrees–a bit chilly, given the heat we've experienced this summer. The humidity, thankfully, will die down a bit.

We won't have a Weekend Planner this week–since we assume most of your weekends will include a little event called Dearborn Homecoming!–but here's one you might want to stop by if you're a car-lover. The happens this Sunday at Ford World Headquarters, but advance registration ($15) ends tomorrow, so sign up at http://www.mocsem.com!

5. In honor of Dearborn's automotive heritage, we bring you Ford Facts. Today's fact: According to National Insurance Crime Bureau "Hot Wheels" statistics, several Ford vehicles are among the most stolen. Those include the Taurus, the F-150 and the Explorer.
