Terry Jones Timeline: When and Where to Gather to Protest, Pray in Dearborn

Dearborn Patch will bring you extensive coverage all week of various events happening around the Florida pastor's impending visit.

Here's what's happening this week surrounding .

Thursday, 3 p.m. Jones is set to appear at Dearborn's before Judge Mark Somers. Jones has not confirmed that he will concede to the court summons, but a decision is expected to be made that afternoon as to whether he will be allowed to protest, and what the terms of that protest will be.

Thursday, 4-7 p.m. A community gathering will be held at the . Co-hosted by the ICA and the InterFaith Leadership Council of Metropolitan Detroit, the event will bring together religious leaders of all faiths to offer a collective response against Jones' actions.

Friday, 10 a.m. The Islamic Center of America will hold a press conference to send a message of peace counteracting Jones' demonstration and beliefs.

Friday, 1:30 p.m. Congregational prayers will be held at the Islamic Center of America.

Friday, 4-7 p.m. The ICA will lead a rally outside of the as a peaceful counteractive event for people to attend who are against Pastor Jones' beliefs. This will be held regardless of whether Jones is banned from demonstrating by a court order.

Friday, 4 p.m. A permit requesting to hold a Stop the Hate Rally has been submitted to the Dearborn Police Department at this time. It is set to take place outside of the Islamic Center of America and is meant to directly counteract Jones' protest at the same location at the same time. There is no word as to whether this event will still take place if Jones is prohibited from protesting.

Friday, 5-8 p.m. If Jones is permitted to demonstrate in Dearborn, this is the timeframe he originally requested in his permit application. Jones has said that he plans to hold his event outside of the Islamic Center of America with or without legal approval from the city. The Thursday court hearing will determine if he is allowed to hold this event, and if so, where he will legally be allowed to host it.
