Students, Public Receive Tour of Michael Berry Career Center in Dearborn
The center offers college and career training programs for students at Dearborn Public Schools.
On March 14, the staff of the Michael Berry Career Center opened their doors to the public to allow parents and students to tour the center, learn about the college and career training it offers, and meet the staff.
Guests enjoyed a home-cooked spaghetti dinner prepared by culinary arts students as part of a fundraiser and community service activity.
In addition to the staff, many current students volunteered their time to set up displays, guide parents through the building, and share their experiences with visitors to the MBCC. Alumni also shared stories of their success after finishing high school.
The event was well attended, with positive response from parents and potential students.
